The plot is decided by whether it is complicated or easy to follow, and whether the story is interesting etc.

Age group is decided by the age I think would enjoy this book.

Violence. I rate the violence by how much blood or serious fighting there is. There are times in a book when for example one animal would eat another. If this was told in a way that would not be too scary I would give it a low number. If it was told in a way that was scary of disgusting I would give it a high number.
